Titanium Wedding Band Defies The Predictable Convention

Titanium wedding band is a variation on the predictable
gold wedding band. Almost everyone wears a gold wedding
band on their wedding day, well you can take the option
of wearing something different and arrange for you and
your bride to wear titanium wedding bands.
Titanium is a rather expensive metal and is very tough,
just like gold. Some titanium wedding bands are more
expensive than the equivalent gold wedding bands. If
you want to get something different and unpredictable,
then a titanium wedding band may be ideal.
Defying Convention WIth A Different Wedding Band
When I became engaged, I wanted to do something different.
I wanted to get a wedding engagement ring that defied
convention. It seems to me that when people are getting
wedding bands, they do one of two things.
Either they get a simple gold band – elegant and tasteful
but a bit unexciting – or else they purchase a wedding
ring adorned with every possible jewel that can be fit
on it. This latter idea seems a bit tacky, but the former
idea seems unsatisfying as well. I wanted to get something
that was unlike anything I had seen before. I wanted
to get a wedding ring that was striking and new.
A Titanium Wedding Bank For My Bride
I decided that I would get my bride to wear a titanium
wedding band. When I first told her about it, she was
not thrilled with the idea. She had never even heard
of titanium wedding bands before, and when I took her
to the jeweler store to review and look at them, she
did not want one.
She is pretty conventional, and something like titanium
wedding bands did not meet her expectations. She was
afraid, after all, that her friends would be unimpressed
by a titanium wedding band. They would think that I
was just getting it to be cheap, and that the fact that
she did not have a gold wedding ring meant that I didn’t
love her.
Titanium Wedding Costs As Much Or More Expensive Than
Gold Wedding Bands
She knew that I loved her, and then I wanted to get
a titanium wedding band because it seemed unconventional
and exciting to me. I wasn’t being a cheapskate – in
fact titanium wedding bands cost as much as, or more
than, comparable gold wedding bands.
I simply thought that we should get wedding engagement
rings that looked different. Our relationship is unusual,
and our love is unusually strong. A titanium wedding
band is also unusual, and is unusually strong as well.
It seemed like the perfect match for our love.
Titanium Is One Of The Strongest Metals
Hearing this, she began to see my point. It took some
convincing, but after a while she was even more exciting
about the idea of getting a titanium wedding band than
I was. She couldn’t stop talking about it, in
fact!
Titanium is one of the strongest substances known,
and the temptation to use that as an analogy for our
relationship was irresistible. In the end, each of us
got a simple titanium wedding band with a small diamond
embedded in it.
Making A Difference From The Dull And Predictable
Instead of getting the same dull gold wedding band
as every one else gets for their wedding, we wanted
to show a difference and say we are not just like all
those office workers marching to the same job every
day, bored out of their dull lives. We will lead an
interesting life together, taking a different road that
leads away from the dull and predictable.
Instead of working every day as a wage slave, I am
working in my own business and pay myself according
to the success I bring to the business. At the moment,
in these tough financial times, my business is thriving,
so you can imagine how successful my business can be
once everyone starts spending again.
A Professional And A Personal Relationship
While my bride can look after the management side of
the business, I will go out and hunt more projects to
bring to the business. Using a professional and a personal
relationship helps, as we are always in touch. Anyhow,
this is how I met my bride in the first place. We were
at one of those business conferences, and we started
talking and we continue to talk.
In a few weeks, she will wear a titanium wedding band.
