If you are looking for a gift for that someone special
in your life, then by all means consider flowers. It
may sound a little trite, yet with a few extra touches
it can be a very special and unique gift. A single flower
in a vase can actually be a wonderful and stunning arrangement.
You can use a simple glass bud vase or perhaps find
a more ornate or antique one that they will adore. Or,
if you prefer to give more than one flower, then be
sure to cut the stem of your top flower about twice
the height of your vase and cut the rest of the stems
at varying lengths so they are all under the main flower.
Be sure to add some greenery or baby’s breath and your
flowers gift will be much appreciated.
Including Your Flower In Your Christmas Gifts
For your Christmas gift giving needs, there are many
different ways you can incorporate a single flower or
a whole arrangement into gifts for everyone on your
list and you can always add a wine gift to the arrangement
too. Poinsettia, mistletoe, winter whites, amaryllis,
a Christmas cactus or holly are all well loved and appreciated
symbols of holiday traditions. Deliver them yourself
or have a florist send your gift directly.
However, there are also plenty of other ways to use
flowers when giving them as gifts. For instance, consider
cutting out several photos that pertain to the person
that is getting the gift, anything from their wedding
day to the birth of their children and grandchildren,
and mount them on magnet sheets.
Including Photo Magnets With Your Flowers
Take these to your local florist and place each one
on one of the sticks that are used to hold the gift
card. The florist, or yourself if you are doing this
in your home, can then incorporate the pictures into
the arrangement. Your flowers gift will live on as the
pictures can then be used as refrigerator magnets.
The gift itself is not as important as the thought,
so any extra touch or sentiment makes it that much more
special. Don’t be afraid to experiment you may just
come up with a great and unusual ways to give.
Flowers In Christmas Gift Baskets
Consider incorporating flowers in gift baskets for
all occasions, especially a Christmas gift basket. Also,
shopping for gifts online may well provide you with
a plethora of ideas.
Quite possibly, the absolutely best reason for sending
flowers is for no reason at all. Of course, Mother’s
Day, Valentines Day and birthdays are all the "usual"
times to send a floral arrangement and that is great.
But, if you really want to surprise someone, then send
one for no reason at all.
